Big in Japan

For those who may not know, Covidien sent David to Tokyo, Japan for a week. He's staying in a nice hotel, eating lots of seafood and drinking lots of Sake (kidding Mamita!). He is busy with presentations and meetings, but should have some time to sight-see. I sent him with the camera and look forward to sharing with all of you the pictures that he will take.

Copy Cat Cutie

I just wanted to post that our sweet little Briana is now 21 months old. And what a doll she is! She is our little copy cat. She copies everything her big brother Isaac does (or at least trys to) and she copies the last word of just about every sentence she can. She is so independant! She wants to walk EVERYWERE! She loves to sing and dance to any music that she hears. Her favorite movies are: Alvin & the Chipmunks (you should hear her shout Allviiiiin!), Happy Feet, Giselle (Enchanted), and Ariel (The Little Mermaid).

She also has a bit if an attitude. If you say something that she doesn't want to hear then she will let you know. She amazes us every single day, and we love it!

There is no picture for this post b/c I do not have access to a camera but I will take and post one as soon as I can.

Mommy's Little Mess Maker

I had asked Briana to go get me a diaper so I could change her bum, and when she didn't come out for a long time I went to go find her and this is what I found.

I guess she was just looking for the perfect one!

Needless to say I pick up a mess like this at least twice a day.

At least she is glad to help!

Erie Town Fair 2008

Sorry this is such a long post, but I couldn't leave any of it out!!
Last weekend was the Erie Town Fair. We didn't make it up early enough for the hot air balloons this year (6am), but we did make it into Old Town for the fair.

They gave out free ice cream sandwiches which was great b/c it was freaking HOT!! Briana didn't want one, but was content to just eat popcorn.

We even splurged and let the kids ride 1 ride. (Isaac wouldn't go near a ride like this when he was Briana's age). They had a blast!!
We bought the kids these cute name bracelets. Dumb I know, but they actually had their names. For some reason most name things don't have Isaac at all, and they usually spell Briana with two n's. Isaac thought it was cool and couldn't wait to put his on. We decided to wait for Briana to get a little bigger.

That afternoon our ward had a BBQ at our community park. Awesome for us b/c we didn't have to go far. I got this cute picture of David and Briana. Isaac was everywhere yet nowhere. We didn't see him until it was time to go.

The guys even talked David into a friendly game of tag football. It was great - for about 2 minutes....literally...David pulled his hamstring within less than 2 minutes and it was all over.

Octopus & Pretzels??

Briana loves to just chill and snack. Lately it's pretzels that she really enjoys.

Meanwhile....

Isaac is an octopus. He traded in his arms and legs for tentacles. And he shows them to everyone and anyone- including the unsuspecting cashier at Wal-Mart. He even eats food like an octopus with his [tentacles]. I love his imagination!

Sick Kids Are No Fun!

This week I had a couple "in house" days due to the kids running fevers. Luckily that was the extent of the illness, and they recovered quickly. I knew Briana wasn't feeling good b/c she fell asleep on the floor and then slept most of the day on the couch, and she never sleeps anywhere but her bed. Poor Isaac had a real bad headache and slept on the couch off and on all day too.

Horton Sleepover

We did it again! Only this time our mom took us down to Jo Jo's house and we slept there. Mom forgot to break out the camera for all the real cute stuff, so she took a couple pictures in the morning after we got up.

Yee Haw!!

She recently discovered Isaac's cowboy hat and loves to wear it...and any other hat she can find any chance she gets.
