1st Halloween at School

Isaac was excited for his first Halloween at school!

I even dressed up this year because I was volunteering in the classroom.

The kids loved seeing each others costumes. They read stories, paraded through their 5th grade buddies classroom, and then went back to class to make some Goblin Gorpe. Before they knew it it was time to go home.

If They Predict It...It Will Come...
That's right- another storm hit us this weekend and dropped just under another foot of snow. So here we are shoveling again! Isaac asks me just about every day if we get to go "shobel".

I'd Like to give a "Shout Out" to the Desert people in Arizona who survived a VERY RARE

2 inches of snow!!!

I stand corrected! The "Amma Monster" reported 5 yes 5 inches of snow in Tucson, Arizona .

The Blizzard....Part II

Yes it's true! We got another foot (give or take) of snow!! Which wouldn't have been so bad

except that it was almost exactly 1 week after the first blizzard.

It didn't snow near as bad, but it just added to the other 4 feet still on the ground.

This time it was my turn to shovel. I haven't shoveled snow in at least 8 years. It has been a welcome change for us to have snow rather than the FREEZING RAIN in Portland.

Normally I can't get Isaac to pose with me even if I beg, but this time he HAD to be in every picture.

He's posing for the camera, just like mom.

He loves Briana and can't wait for her to get here!!

(And yes, I wear this shirt A LOT!!! It's one of the few that still fit!!!)
