Halloween 2010

Isaac always likes to be something scary...this year it was a vampire. Briana was going to be a dead princess Jasmine, but at the last minute decided to glam it up instead. I even dressed up for work this year...everyone thought i was really sick so i must have done an ok make-up job.

Puppy Love

4 Year Old Princess

It seems like only yesterday I was holding her in my arms for the first time. I cant' believe how quickly time passes. She is now a big 4 year old, tho you might think she was older. She is so very smart and such a happy child. She has a sassy spirit and her own sense of style. We just love her so very much!

First day of School - 2nd Grade

Headed for the bus on the first day of school. His teach is Mrs. McGuirk. He was super excited and really likes his teacher!

A New Addition...

GRIFFIN

We finally broke down, joined the masses and got a dog. He is a Brussels Griffon. He is 8 weeks old and weighs in at a whopping 2.9 pounds. Full grown he will weigh about 12 pounds and be 8 inches tall. He's hypoallergenic which is great for Isaac, and a super loving, mellow little guy.

The kids were surprised, as you can tell by the picture below. They were so excited - they have been begging for a dog for a couple years now. We are already in love with this sweet little guy and look forward to many years with him!

Nothin

There isn't much to report around here. I have a couple things to post and will do it soon, just don't' feel up to it today, plus it doesn't seem like anyone really looks at this thing anymore, so since it's mostly for me I will get around to updating when I feel like it. =]

Tiny Twi-hard

Briana LOVES the Twilight Saga, but if you ask her if she is on team Edward or team Jacob her answer is Emmett....this girl loves Emmett!!! But she does also like Edward.

Noodle Fingers

I made Rigatone pasta the other night for dinner and Briana thought they would make great noodle fingers...and they did! :)

We Made GUMBO!!

After watching The Princess and the Frog a bunch of times the kids were begging us to make gumbo, so we found a recipe on the Internet for Beef, Shrimp, and Crab Gumbo and decided to give it a try. It turned out pretty good and the kids had fun making it!

Ms Fancy

Briana loves to dress up, she is all about being girly and this time she put on just about everything she could find...except clothes. :)

Easter '10

Easter was pretty relaxing as usual. The kids went on a egg hunt at the house first thing in the morning followed by a neighborhood egg hunt. Afterwards we went to a friends home for dinner and some hang-out time.

Spring Break 2010

2 Years

It's hard to believe that it was two years ago today that my dad lost his battle with cancer. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and miss him.

Sno-Man

Another snow day in Colorado... this time it was great snow for a snowman...the kids and David had a blast making him!! Sadly he melted 2 days later :(

Easy Bake

We wanted to do a fun Mommy/Briana activity this afternoon, and found a great deal on this easy Bake Oven at Walmart (duh) and Briana so soo excited! I never owned one as a little girl. We had fun making a little cake. It didn't turn out as pretty as it looks on the box, but then these things never do, do they?

Submarine

Isaac the scientist built this "submarine" using his imagination and some things he found around the house. How smart is he?!

Star Wars

Since getting a really fun Star Wars game for the Wii Isaac has been obsessed with Darth Vader. He drew this mask and taped it on so that he could BE Darth Vader.

Lego City

Isaac and Joylyn spent a lot of time building this structure. Not sure if it's a city or an airport but they had a fun time! :)

Pink 'n' Sassy

She loves every shade of pink possible and has a cute sassy attitude too!
