Spring Break 2009

Me and the kids decided that we would take off to Utah for our first official "Spring Break".
Well, we went from this:

To this:

It snowed about every other day, and we had to delay coming home by a couple days due to road conditions, but we had a great time! We visited my poor, orphaned, widowed mother. It was nice, there was nowhere we had to be or go. Very relaxing, and the kids loved spending time with their Nana, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

End Of Summer Quest...

An Interstate Road Trip

The kids and I left David home, and headed out on a road trip. This was to be a 3 legged trip this time though. We headed to Utah, where we stayed @ Papa & Nana's. We spent time with Gavin & Becki as well as the Lillie cousins. We also got to meet their new little one Garrett. I also got to meet Ethan, but didn't get any photos because we didn't see Brigette & Tait much. Sorry guys!

After being in Utah for a few days we decided to head up to Idaho and spend some time with Alisa and the kids. The Mighty Hunter was out on the bow hunt. The kids and I had lots of fun. Briana is going through the "separation anxiety" stage and didn't want to leave my side for a second. I felt bad, but was extremely exhausted by the end of the trip, and the kids were anxius to get home.

FYI...while I was gone my sweet hubby did a lot of stuff. To see it check out our other site: http://www.houseofhortons.blogspot.com/

HAFB Museum

On the drive up to Idaho Isaac saw this place off the freeway in Odgen, Utah, so I decided that it would make a nice stopping/stretching point.

Isaac loves seeing all the planes, and Briana liked it too. She got her first VERY OWN die cast plane, since she already likes to play with her big brother's. Isaac got his own Pilot dog tags. He thought it was cool, and shows it to everyone and tells them that he is "Actually a F-16 pilot"
