Oh Odyssey!!!

With School and carpooling now we thought it would be nice to get a bigger vehicle
(I don't think this qualifies as a "car" but we still call it our car).
It's a 2007 with 22,000 miles. And it is fully loaded. It has leather, moon roof, DVD, Navigation, and the works. It will take us a while to figure out how everything works.
It is very comfortable, and the fact that the kids can't touch/pester each other in the back is the biggest bonus! We can't wait to try it out on a long drive.
David says that he Never thought he would feel this way about a minivan. It's awesome!!

Spooky Halloween Town

The kids are super excited (as usual ) for Halloween this year. They wanted to surprise Daddy by having the decorations up when he got home from his trip.

We got these houses from Michaels ( craft store ). They are the Halloween version of the Christmas village. Super cute too!!

So we have this up, as well as black garland wrapped around our banister, fall leaves and pumpkin candles on the mantle, a spider web light in the study window with a fiber optic pumpkin in the windowsill, and a fall wreath on the door. This is the only thing that I took a picture of b/c the kids were so excited about it.

So other than costumes, we are ready and rockin' for Halloween, and Isaac is super excited to go trick-or-treating with his friends in the neighborhood this year!!!

Boston Trip 2008

Here are photos from David's trip to Boston, MA. He was there for a RAPS Conference. (I know it stands for Regulatory Affairs something or other). He has no idea what most of these places are b/c the tour moved so fast. I am sure you can guess by just looking at them what they are of...most of them have some sort of description.

He goes back to Boston again this next week to present his Six Sigma Project to the CEO of Covidien, and no, he's not nervous...this guy really knows his regulatory stuff!!

Japan Trip 2008

After talking with someone on the phone the other day (I think it was Becki ) I remembered that I hadn't ever posted pictures of David's trip to Japan. So after a very long wait, here you go:

Here he is traveling First-Class...Snob!!

A couple views of the city:

David with 2 guys who's names I don't know:

Check out this HUGE door!

This is Vice-Minister of War Omura Masujiro

Buddah's giant sandal:

Most of the pictures are un-named b/c I don't know what they are of, and neither does David. It does look like a very beautiful place though. He had a good time.

Volunteer Mom

I just wanted to blog a bit about a recent adventure.

Last friday I volunteered in Isaac's classroom! It was an intersting and fun experience. I thought that he would act all crazy like he sometimes does when I am around, but he was pretty normal. The day started out with him being chosen as "The Star of the Day". That meant that he got to check the weather, count the kids in class and decide the numerical difference between the boys and girls and name the months of the year, days of the week and that days' date. He also got to be line leader. He was excited that he got chosen on the day I was there. (It was a slight coincidence considering that each kid gets a day, and with 26 students and it being the 23rd day of school.)

It was neat to see what goes on in the classroom so that when he talks about something they did that day I have an idea of what he is talking about. And I really like his teacher. She seems to like all the kids. She even went out of her way to find an Octopus poem for him aftering hearing (a lot I'm sure) about how much he loves octopus. He seems to really like school and his teacher so far.

Sleeping with a Flashlight

We went to check on Isaac before going to bed, and discovered that he fell asleep with his flashlight on. It was too cute to not get a picture!

Polo Kids & Funny Faces

These pictures were fun to take b/c Briana loves to do things just like her big brother does.
