CTU Student

 For those who may not know, this past April I went back to school. I am now a student at Colorado Technical University and am going to school to get my Associates Degree of Science in Surgical Technology. It will take me about 2 years to finish. I had to do a lot of work to get into this super competitive program but was just accepted into the program beginning with the Summer term in July. I am so excited but nervous. It's going to be a lot of work, and I haven't been in school in years, but I can do this! And I have already made some great friends!

 The first two pictures are of me and Gee...we had one class together this semester, and plan to take Anatomy and Physiology I together this summer, as well as any other classes for Surg Tech that we can!! :)

The last picture is Me, Gee and Johanna...she is going to for surg tech too!!

Mother's Day 2011

 I was lucky this year and got to leave class to go spend some time with Isaac at school for their Mother's day celebration. They read teo poems that they wrote, we had cupcakes and lemonade, they showed us some artwork, and then I got to have lunch with my boy...it was fun! Can't wait to do it with both kiddos next year :)

Easter 2011

I took the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt that this local church was putting on...They had sno-cones, popcorn,  cotton candy, and hot dogs, and Briana even won a 16" bicycle!!!  ...that she now rides without training wheels...what a big girl!!!

Halloween 2010

Isaac always likes to be something scary...this year it was a vampire. Briana was going to be a dead princess Jasmine, but at the last minute decided to glam it up instead. I even dressed up for work this year...everyone thought i was really sick so i must have done an ok make-up job.

Puppy Love

4 Year Old Princess

It seems like only yesterday I was holding her in my arms for the first time. I cant' believe how quickly time passes. She is now a big 4 year old, tho you might think she was older. She is so very smart and such a happy child. She has a sassy spirit and her own sense of style. We just love her so very much!

First day of School - 2nd Grade

A New Addition...

GRIFFIN

We finally broke down, joined the masses and got a dog. He is a Brussels Griffon. He is 8 weeks old and weighs in at a whopping 2.9 pounds. Full grown he will weigh about 12 pounds and be 8 inches tall. He's hypoallergenic which is great for Isaac, and a super loving, mellow little guy.

The kids were surprised, as you can tell by the picture below. They were so excited - they have been begging for a dog for a couple years now. We are already in love with this sweet little guy and look forward to many years with him!
