@ The Denver Zoo
We decided to ring out the summer with a visit to the zoo this past Friday. It was a beautiful day to go. It was sunny, but not hot, there was a nice breeze, and most of all it wasn't crowded.
They had the feline exhibit open for the first time since the mauling death of a zookeeper last Spring. Isaac thought seeing the big cat this close was cool!
And of course what is a trip to the zoo without a stop to see the penguins. Briana had to see her "Happy Feet" friends.

After seeing the "Great Apes" Isaac thought a few minutes on the Congo drums would be a good end to the day.

There were all these beautiful flowers of various colors in bloom all around so I had to snap a picture of one.
This wasn't our last trip to the zoo this year, but the weather is definately starting to get colder. We are excited to go to see the Zoo lights again this winter.

Wow! Isaac and Briana are so lucky to have you to take them to the zoo. Now, when are you going to be taking them to the one in Portland???
ReplyDeleteIsaac I am so impressed, you can jump so much!,and I could hear the drums all the way in Arizona....maybe what I heard are real indians in Arizona, can you imagine?...real indians! tell mom and dad it's time to come to Amma's house so you can see real cowboys and indians....yup...for real!.
ReplyDeleteBrianna, you won't find pinguins in Arizona, but you will find Amma happy feet if you are here.
Dave and George, Isaac would really love tombstone now as he gets older!
Love ya all, Amma
