29 years to be exact!!
(at least I have 1 more year before the big 3-0!)
We celebrated by going with the kids to Benihanas. The kids had a blast watching our food get made. Our chef was pretty entertaining, and joked around with Isaac a lot. They sang to me and took our picture. After dinner we went home to sing happy birthday and eat cake. David and the kids made my cake this year. It was a yummy lemon cake. Isaac put the letters on it pretty much all by himself. Our sweet next-door neighbors came over to help us celebrate and share the cake.
For my birthday gifts this year, The kids bought me a sweater, and David and I are going to spend a kid-free night in Sierra Vista, Arizona and go see Twilight.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE!!!!!!!! 29 forever, remember that. 30, then 40, it happens fast! Argh! I hope it was great! Enjoy your time with David in Arizona! Love ya a bunch!

ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed sharing the yummy cake with you guys! Great job David and Isaac! I still have to giggle about how you didn't tell us it was your birthday when you asked us over for cake. I'm so quick on the uptake that the mention of 'cake' and Brianna spontaneously erupting into the Happy Birthday song didn't really tip me off. LOL. Those pregnancy hormones sure do do a number on you! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!). Happy Birthday!
