Here is my Kidergartner getting ready for his very first field trip. They are going to the Sunflower Farm in Longmont. They recently studied the life cycle and in doing so they incubated and hatched baby chicks. They took them to the farm to live today.They had to ride the bus and take a sack lunch and everything. Isaac has been so excited about this upcoming trip.
When he got home he was so excited to tell me about the eggs they got to find, and the corn they got to feed to the lambs, the animals, the swings, and all the towers of hay and bridges that they saw. He enjoyed his field trip. Without having Mom or Dad there. And can't wait until the next one which I told him should be sometime in 1st grade.
