Life Is Busy...Life Is Beautiful !!

So I haven't updated the blog in a while. Things have been pretty busy around here.
For those who may not know, David has completed his Masters Thesis, and is set to graduate from San Diego State University in May (YEAH!!!). His thesis is amazing! I only read a few pages of it, and only understood about 2%, but 2 of the professors told him that his is one of THE BEST theses that they have ever read!! (I think he deserves to be bragged about, he has work so hard for the past 6 months on the darn thing) He is planning on walking in California, so we are going to be going down there, and celebrating with a trip to Disneyland, Sea World, and the works!!
As for me, I have been busy as well. I have been working as the Crossing Guard for Black Rock Elementary, and also have a job part-time at Walmart. I love it! It's a no stress, easy going, fun job that gets me out of the house a couple nights a week. I get that much needed adult conversation, I have met a few friends already, and the extra income sure doesn't hurt!!

The Ring

A Diamond In The...Cookie?
To understand this post you have to realize that when David proposed to me he did so by placing my ring in a Panda Express fortune cookie. So here's the story:
While in Arizona for Thanksgiving David and I had our first overnight stay without our kids. He surprised me with a beautiful 1 ct. diamond ring for our anniversary. For those who don't know, as poor college students we decided it was get a diamond and wait, or get a CZ (cubic zirconia) and get married....we chose to get married.
So, I knew what I was getting for Christmas just not exactly how it looked. We decided that we would have the stone placed in my original wedding band. So It was a little bit of a surprise when I finally got to open it. It's gorgeous! And it feels great to have my wedding band back!

Thank you so much...I love it babe!

Lucky Number 7!!

We just hit 7 years!!
We celebrated by having a day for just the 2 of us thanks so much to Mike ad Julie Jarvis who watched our little ones for us ALL DAY!!
We went to to lunch, to a movie and then some shopping. We just hung out!
It was great! David got me an amazing anniversary/Christmas gift, but you will have to wait until I post Christmas pictures to see!
Since most of you that we know weren't able to attend our nuptials 7 years ago, I thought I would post some wedding pictures, so without further ado, here they are:
Out of 5 girls, I was the last to get married. It was a great honor to have my Dad give me away.

Here is us with our parents. It's amazing how much things/we have all changed in 7 years.

Here is our HUGE bridal party.

The Bride and groom. It is a great shot of my dress!

Here I am with 3 out of 4 flower girls. Aren't they cute?

Our first dance.

Me 'n' my Dad. Gosh I miss him!

And here is our uber decorated car. What a night!

Winter Wonderland Gala

David and I hired a babysitter and went to a Covidien party last weekend. We had a very nice dinner, a "lovely" opera show and then we hit the dance floor. Now David and I have never been dancing, so this was a first for us. You all should have seen David getting his groove on!! Cinderella and her Prince stayed out until midnight. It was such a fun night we decided that we need to go out dancing again soon!
(Thanks to Emily for helping me pick out a dress...and to Madison for babysitting our little tornado.)

Part II

Sledding Part II...The Parents
Even Mom and Dad got in on the action. We were all having fun,
until David went over a big bump, and popped the tube.
In the last picture you can see it in action. It was hilarious!!
But Sad because we had to go home.

It's Been How Long???

5 Years Already?
That's right!! 5 years for us! Wow!! We couldn't celebrate ON our anniversary
(which is on the 21st) because we had a blizzard and the roads were closed, so we celebrated on the 23rd. Daniel and Tiffany watched Isaac, (thanks a ton guys!) and we went to Littleton and had a nice dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery. It was very nice and relaxing.

Isaac's Parents

Isaac took this picture of us while we were setting up "baby sister's" room.
He is getting so good at taking pictures. He will be a pro by the time
she arrives and take lots of pictures of her.
