2009 Black Rock Elementary Kindergarten Celebration

Black Rock Elementary held their first annual Kindergarten Celebration, since this year is the first year the school has been open. School is officially out next Firday the 15th.

The kids were adorable in their matching t-shirts. They sang 4 cute songs, had a slideshow, and afterward we had some cake. It was so cute to see Isaac sing!

He really enjoyed her as his teacher, and is super excited for 1st grade!!

Briana... aka Cow Princess

She is a girly girl through and through. With her cow hat, scarf, and gloves, her hospital gown, and her mom's boots. What could be cuter?

First Field Trip

Here is my Kidergartner getting ready for his very first field trip. They are going to the Sunflower Farm in Longmont. They recently studied the life cycle and in doing so they incubated and hatched baby chicks. They took them to the farm to live today.
They had to ride the bus and take a sack lunch and everything. Isaac has been so excited about this upcoming trip.

When he got home he was so excited to tell me about the eggs they got to find, and the corn they got to feed to the lambs, the animals, the swings, and all the towers of hay and bridges that they saw. He enjoyed his field trip. Without having Mom or Dad there. And can't wait until the next one which I told him should be sometime in 1st grade.

Kindergarten Class Picture

It was class picture day, and Isaac wanted his hair combed "just like Edward the vampire". What a handsome little devil he is too! We had no idea he was going to have individual pictures taken as well. They turned out so cute we had to buy one!
Anwho, so here is our boy's first class picture. Different from back in the days we were in school!

Dressin' Up

My kids LOVE to dress up. Today it's Santa Clause and the Chef.

Briana has to use Isaac's costumes b/c she doesn't yet have any of her own. (hint towards birthday gifts in August) These two are like 2 peas in a pod!

Isaac is home sick from school today, so we are taking it easy playing dress up and having a movie marathon.

Daddy's not Available

This is our sweet little disappointed girl who was very sad when she called her Daddy and he wasn't available to talk to her.

Snugglebug x2

Briana gets it from her mommy. She is such a snuggler! She came into our room like she does just about every morning, and after David got up to get ready for work she fell asleep BESIDE me. Little by little she got closer and closer until she fell asleep ONTOP of me. David just had to get a picture. She's such a funny little girl!

Hoppy Easter 2009

The kiddos had a great Easter! Briana squealed every time she found an egg. The kids talked for a week about how the Easter BUnny left them each a $2 bill in a gold/silver egg.

Our Goofy Kids

Some goofy pictures of the kids one of the nights they were hanging with their Dad. I work all weekend pretty much every week, so they have been able to spend some much needed time with their Dad. They love it!

Spring Break 2009

Me and the kids decided that we would take off to Utah for our first official "Spring Break".

It snowed about every other day, and we had to delay coming home by a couple days due to road conditions, but we had a great time! We visited my poor, orphaned, widowed mother. It was nice, there was nowhere we had to be or go. Very relaxing, and the kids loved spending time with their Nana, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
