STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER
While we were in Oregon Isaac really wanted to go pick blueberries, but when we went to the farm where we picked them last time the people told us that they wouldn't be ready to pick until mid July. So we opted to pick strawberries instead. The kids had a blast!!!
Isaac tried to pick as many as he could, while Briana ate as many as she could!
OMSI We went to OMSI with my friend Kara and her kids Sariah and Gabriel. They had a dinosaur exhibit going on there. Briana just LOVED the t-rex...she couldn't keep her eyes off him.
We checked out the science lab, and then Isaac shot a bottle rocket.
SEASIDEI promised Isaac that we would go out to the beach. Briana has been there once, but she was less than 2 weeks old. We ate at Pig 'n' Pancake, which was a terrible experience. We hit the Seaside Candyman and bought some salt water taffy, and then we hit the beach and the water.
Briana loved the sand. She would have played in it all day if I would have let her.
The above picture is of Briana shouting "COLD!! HOLD DIS!!" The water was very cold.
We bought Isaac a squid souvenir from the toy store and he fell asleep with it on the way home. We had a good time in Oregon and hope to go back and visit again... and take David with us.
Fun! Okay, but now where are the pics of the backyard?
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to take Averi to the coast! She's never been, I hope she likes it . . . she's been so fickle lately about what she does and doesn't like. Of course, I don't think Joylyn's been to the beach since she was 8 months old, so it will be interesting to see what she thinks too ;)
