As most of you know I am practically the last person on earth you would expect to rave about ice cream b/c it is my least favorite dessert on the planet. This weekend we went to the Denver Zoo and got some Dippin' Dots like we tend to do. (the kids love the tiny little dots)
Now I actually had to have a bite or two today solely for the fact that the flavor was Spookies 'n' Cream. It was cookies 'n' cream, but the ice cream was orange to celebrate the Halloween Holiday. How kick-ass is that (pardon my french)? How many ice cream companies change colors for the holidays? The kids thought they hit the jackpot b/c I was really nice (David would call it flirting) to the cashier and he filled 2 extra little cups for the kids which meant that my $4 bought a lot more Dots than they normally would have. They tasted pretty good too!!
Isaac is hoping that maybe they will do something like this for Christmas, who knows?
Dippin' Dots are by far the coolest form of icecream on the planet in my opinion. :-) Very cool!
ReplyDeleteWay to be *nice*, mom! Dippin' Dots are super yummy but always a little pricey. Way to get your money's worth! How fun to eat "spooky" ice cream!
