Vein Surgeries

As most of you know I have suffered from Varicose Veins since high school, but they got worse since having children. I have undergone surgery once already which the doctor was shocked at since I am not even 30 yet. I had Laser Ablation surgery on both legs in 2005 only to be pregnant immediately following. So after having many problems since, decided once again to seek out professional help and (hopefully) take care of them once and for all.
Here is a view of my left leg following a VNUS procedure which uses radio frequency to close the vein. I was awake fro this procedure

Here is a pre-surgery and a post -surgery picture of my right leg. For this leg they performed a Phlebectomy in which they made tiny incisions every few inches down my leg and used a tiny hook to remove my vein.

I was under general anesthesia for this which isn't always the case.
I have more to get done and am not out of the woods yet, but look forward to having painless, sexy legs by next summer!!

My sweet neighbors Carol & Mike gave me this pretty "Get Well Plant".

I also wanted to give a big thanks to those who helped me out. First to my sweet husband for taking such good care of me, to Tiffany and the girls for staying with us and helping out with the kids, and to my friends Carrie and Emily, for checking up on me almost every day, and taking Isaac and Briana so that I could get some rest and not have to chase the little rascals all day.
